Rob grew up in Gloucestershire, where he was a cathedral chorister and music scholar, and studied English Literature at St. John’s College, Durham University. He then spent a handful of years working in the City before completing his PGCE.
Before joining Hampton Court House in 2020, Rob spent sixteen years teaching and in senior leadership at a variety of schools in London and environs. He has led two other sixth forms, and is experienced in preparing students for GCSE, A Level, and Russell Group / Oxbridge entrance.
Outside the classroom, Rob spends most of his time raising his two teenage daughters, reading, writing, walking, running, and continuing to play a few musical instruments with varying degrees of competence.
