Talat Khan

Position: Head of Additional Learning Provision (SENDCo)
As an experienced SEND leader at HCH and consultant at AdvantageSEND, Talat has worked with children, parents, schools and local authorities to address SEND concerns. Talat feels it’s a great privilege to be able to make a difference to an individual’s life, as well as equipping schools with the training and skills to make real SEND progress. The key factors involved in establishing success are the ability to listen, to understand the needs of the concerned, and to effectively communicate how an inclusive status quo can be achieved.

Talat has gained a Master’s in Special and Inclusive Education, a post graduate diploma in SpLD, AMDBA and APC accreditation. This allows her to be at the forefront of delivering expert advice on SEND education. It is with this knowledge and expertise that she finds herself wanting to promote the highest quality of service to individuals, institutes and organisations looking for the best to address their SEND concerns.

The expertise that she offers is based within a holistic and practical framework. Therefore working in collaboration with all parties to ensure success is a crucial.
