Ruth has had a passion for English since school and was fortunate to spend three years at Goldsmiths University studying English Literature.
After completing a PGCE, Ruth embarked on her teaching career, aiming to share her enthusiasm for English with younger students. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ruth takes pride in having taught every year group from Nursery to Year 6 in a variety of schools since qualifying in 2000.
Unsurprisingly, Ruth is an avid reader, and curling up with a good book is one of her favourite things to do. With her husband and two teenage children, Ruth enjoys going for walks, not forgetting their beloved Cavapoo, Molly!
