Angela graduated from Bristol University with a degree in French and Russian, after which she studied law at the College of Law in London. She worked for several years as a solicitor in a London law firm, before completing her PGCE. She taught in a number of state schools, then became a consultant for BaNES Education Authority, where she led numerous conferences and took a key role in the NQT programme. After this she lectured at Bath University on the middle years PGCE English course, before teaching maths at a King Edward’s School, Bath, for the past 15 years.
She moved to London with her husband and dog, Hastings and now lives on the Thames in a houseboat.
