A huge congratulations to our Year 13 leavers who are celebrating a record year for A Levels, with over 70% of all grades being awarded A* – A, soaring above the national average of 58% for independent schools and reaching the Top 50 of all London schools and the Top 50 UK independent schools in The Telegraph’s league table.
Key achievements:
- 23% A* grades (Improvement from 9.5% in 2019)
- Over 70% A* – A grades (Above the nationwide average of 58% for independent schools)
- 89% A* – B grades (Improvement from 79% in 2021 and 83% in 2019)
- 98% A* – C grades (Improvement from 97% in 2021 and 97% in 2019)
- 57% of entire year group achieved 3 or more A and A* grades
Our extraordinary students rose to the challenges posed over the last two years following the pandemic and return to classroom learning, with 57% of the cohort achieving 3 or more A* and A grades and 89% of all grades were awarded A* – B.
The record results were found across a range of subject disciplines, with 100% A* and A grades in History, Geography and ICT, while 100% of grades were awarded A* – B in Art, Biology, Economics, English Literature, Geography, History, ICT, Physics and Psychology.
These results indicate that 75% of Hampton Court House Sixth Formers including a number of Oxbridge candidates met and exceeded their firm choice Russell Group university offers at leading universities such as Edinburgh, University College London, St Andrews, Exeter and King’s College London.
These results conclude another outstanding year for Hampton Court House, which saw the school being recognised with the Wellbeing Award for Schools and accredited with the LabelFrancÉducation from the Institut français in March, while Nebula Research launched the Future Researcher’s Programme in Year 12.

Congratulations to our Y13 students for achieving such impressive results in their A levels. Remote teaching, Zoom calls, covid, lockdown, CAG’s… all part of the vocabulary from the last few years of their educational journey that didn’t exist when they started their secondary education seven years ago.
