Aldevis was born in Italy and attended studied at the Tartini Music Academy. Aldevis is an active performer and has worked across a wide range of music, from jazz to ethnic, from rock to fusion and several jazz big bands. Live performances and studio recordings, both as a sideman and as a leader, are an essential fundament of his teaching. In recent years in London, Aldevis has particularly enjoyed playing with jazz big bands.
Aldevis has made several recordings, including three albums as a leader, the first of which was released in 1998, obtaining excellent international reviews. His second album, Twentysix Three, was listed by The Telegraph among the best albums in 2016
