Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland Daphne attended Dublin City University where she persued her passion for sport and fitness by earning her degree in Sport Science and Health. After graduation Daphne travelled and worked in the outdoor and personal trainer industries both in Ireland and Canada.
In 2010 Daphne returned to academia and undertook further study in Physics at the University of Sussex paving the way for the completion of her PGCE in Science and Physics at St. Mary’s University. Apart from breaks to travel and return to Canada she has been teaching in South West London ever since.
Outside of teaching Daphne has played basketball at Division 1 level in Ireland and also enjoys numerous other athletic persusts including ice hockey, rock climbing, trekking, snowboarding and softball.
