Joanna Moore

Position: Teacher of Art

Jo grew up in nearby Twickenham and graduated from the University of Cambridge with a joint First class degree in Architecture and History of Art. After a first career as an Architectural Historian and Conservation Caseworker, her love of drawing took her to undertake a Diploma at the Royal Drawing School and then teaching children and Foundation students at many of London’s galleries and museums, such as the V&A, British Musuem, National Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery. She worked at Epsom College and Hampton School before joining Hampton Court House. Her specialisms include drawing, art history and architecture.
Outside of the Art Studios, Jo likes to sketch and paint for herself, run along towpaths and parks, explore historic buildings and spend time with her family and lucky black cat.
