Kieran Brunt


Position: Teacher of Singing, Choirmaster

Kieran is a singer, composer and teacher based in London.

 After studying music with a choral scholarship at St John’s College, Cambridge, he founded the vocal ensemble Shards, who signed to Erased Tapes Records in 2019. The group record and tour internationally, and feature on TV and film scores such as BAFTA-winning ‘Silo’ for Apple TV. 

 As a composer and performer Kieran has received frequent commissions from BBC Radio 3, as well as collaborations with a diverse range of musicians that include Terry Riley, Nico Muhly, Nils Frahm, Aurora, Squid, the BBC Philharmonic and The King’s Singers. From 2019-2022 he was Composer in Residence at the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.

 Formerly Director of Music at Hampton Court House, Kieran continues to conduct the HCH Chamber Choir, which he founded in 2015. He also teaches singing to students from Year 5 upwards.
