Kieran Brunt


Position: Teacher of Singing, Choirmaster

Kieran is a composer, performer and teacher based in London.  

He studied Music with a Choral Scholarship at St John’s College, Cambridge, before founding vocal ensemble SHARDS in 2016. The group record and tour internationally, and have appeared on TV and Film scores such as Project Hail Mary (Amazon Studios) and the BAFTA-winning SILO (Apple TV).  

Known for a vast range of collaborations, Kieran has recently worked with the likes of AURORA, James Blake, Nico Muhly, Nils Frahm, Terry Riley, the BBC Philharmonic and Squid. He arranged and produced ‘Lullaby’, the T4P charity single which reached No. 5 in the 2025 Christmas Singles Chart. 

As a composer he has received numerous commissions from BBC Radio 3, most recently for the BBC singers. He was Composer in Residence at the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven from 2019-2022. 

Formerly Director of Music at HCH, Kieran conducts the Chamber Choir and teaches singing to students from Year 5 and upwards.
