Rebecca was raised in Worcester, England, where she developed her love of teaching young children. At her local dance school, she began to teach a range of dance genres and decided to pursue this love of teaching as a career. After gaining a degree in International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Rebecca completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Education at The Institute of Education, University of London, where she specialised in Art and Design.
Rebecca has worked as a class teacher in Years 1 and 2 at a school in Birmingham, where she also worked closely with schools in the area who had fallen into special measures, by supporting the teaching staff with planning and assessment. After 4 years of teaching in Birmingham, Rebecca moved to New York City with her husband, where she worked for 3 years as a private English and Maths tutor.
Rebecca enjoys bringing her creativity into the classroom and using her artistic skills and imagination to foster her students’ love of learning.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys water skiing and snow skiing with her family, as well as exploring new countries.
