Sam graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in International Business. Whilst at University, Sam discovered his passion for mathematics. Before he trained as a teacher at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, he worked at a private equity firm where he realised he wanted to put his mathematics skills to better use. Sam firmly believes that anybody is capable of being a great mathematician, they just need to be in the right mindset.
Outside the classroom, Sam likes to spend his spare time running, and takes full advantage of the beautiful Royal Parks around the area. During his time at school and university Sam competed at a high level in athletics, representing England over the 800m. As well as sport Sam enjoys travelling to new countries and experiencing different cultures.
