Xue was born and grew up in China, where she graduated with a BSc in Economics. She completed an MSc in Process Technology and Business Management from the University of Warwick. Xue then worked six years as a market research analyst in the materials industry in London. She discovered her passion for teaching through teaching her own children Chinese and became a Mandarin teacher.
Xue is passionate about helping people learn Chinese and the culture. She enjoys engaging students with relevant cultural activities such as Chinese calligraphy, origami, songs, legendary stories and festival celebrations.
In her spare time, Xue loves meditation and spending time with her family.
